As a small community school we are able of offer our junior students (K-2) the wonderful opportunity of taking part in our 'Clubs' program for the first three years of their schooling. Junior Clubs are run after lunch on Thursdays throughout all of Terms 2 and 3.
A long established tradition at Annangrove PS, our Junior Clubs program offers our students a range of extra curricula activities that are creative, social, educational and above all else, great fun! (Students are rarely absent on Clubs day) The success of Junior Clubs is greatly due to our wonderful parents who volunteer to supervise the various activities. The high participation rate of our community parents enables us to split the students into small peer teams consisting of a maximum of six students in each. Club teams go off to various stations throughout the school to enjoy their activity. All students participate in all activities, operating on a two week rotation model. Each year the Clubs change so that students enjoy a variety of experiences over their three years in the junior school.
An example of the activities on offer during clubs are (these activities will vary year to year):
Term 2 Tie-dye Club - making calico bags
